REFLECTIONS

I really like the way we managed to photograph our headpieces - the green iridescent fabric brought the pieces together and the warm lighting we were able to get added a glow to our work.

If I were to improve my final piece, I would work on changing the colour of the fabric on my hat - either by painting or sewing on patches of fabric, probably in shades of green and blue. I would also neaten the placement of my hat's beads and strips of fabric so that it looked more cohesive. I wanted my piece to have an assortment of related colours but that can easily look messy. To make it look better, I would first set a veil of fabric around the rim of the cap and then adorn it with the jewellery pieces I gathered/
